Time sure does fly

Oh my . Where has the time gone. I haven't posted since early November. It has been so busy with the holidays, my sinus surgery and all the follow-ups and for some reason January is always a busy time for me. Here are a few cards for your viewing pleasure.

Tuxedo Black Memento (132708)

(147912), Stampin’ Dimensionals (100430), Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels

· Designer
Paper: Let It Snow Specialty (150393)
Measurements:
· Card
Base: Real Red 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”. Score and fold at 4-1/4”.
· Cardstock
#2: Whisper White 5” x 2”
· Designer
Paper #1: 5-1/2” x 3-3/4”
· Designer
Paper #2: 5-1/4” x 2-1/4”
Instructions:
· Glue
large layer of designer paper to card front centered vertically.
· Glue
smaller layer of designer paper to card front about 3/8” from the top.
· Stamp
the three penguin images on the Whisper White layer using Tuxedo Black Memento
Ink. Outline each penguin using the Pool Party Light Blends Markers. Use the
Color Lifter to smooth out the hard edges of the Pool Party color by rubbing on
the edge of all outlined penguins. Color the penguin beaks with the Daffodil
Delight Dark Blends Marker. Layer cardstock over the smaller designer paper
layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
· Glue
hat, mittens and scarves to each penguin using Multipurpose Liquid Glue from
the Let It Snow Embellishment Kit. Trim the scarves to fit if needed.
· Cut
the sentiment using the Merry Christmas Dies and Real Red Cardstock and glue
below the penguins.
· Add
a few Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the background around the sentiment.
· Card
complete!

Instructions:
·
Stamp
1 Christmas tree onto piece of scrap Whisper White cardstock with Versamark
ink, apply silver embossing powder, heat using heat tool until embossing powder
melted; punch out
·
Repeat
with a different Christmas tree onto piece of scrap Night of Navy cardstock,
apply silver embossing powder, heat until melted and punch out
·
Punch
out 1 Christmas tree from the Feels Like Frost DSP
·
Heat
emboss sentiment with silver embossing powder onto the Night of Navy piece
(3 ¾ “ x 2 ½” ) toward the bottom left corner
·
Using
the Tin Tile 3 D embossing folder run this Night of Navy sentiment piece through
die cutting machine
·
Assemble
Feels Like Frost DSP (3 ¾ “ x 2 ¾ “) and the Night of Navy sentiment piece onto
the Whisper White cardstock using liquid glue
·
Tie
ribbon around the seam and make a secure knot; trim to desired length
·
Glue
panel down to Night of Navy card base
·
Assemble
the 3 trees in desired sequence onto left side of card over the ribbon. Pop up 2 of the trees as desired.
·
Apply
rhinestones to lower part of card
·
Your
card is now completed!
