Gelli plate play

I pulled out my 5 x 7 Gelli Plate and cut up some cardstock and played this morning. 

A few ideas

I made a fall wall hanging and tried embossing the top of one of Stampin Up's mini pizza boxes.  It will make a cute gift box 

Twine background cards

I made these 2 birthday cards this AM.  The background is stamped using an acrylic block with twine wrapped around the block in a random pattern.  Quick, easy and FUN. 

Stamp a Faire Journal - Sewing journal

I made a sewing machine journal instead of a garden journal to keep track of my sewing machine serial numbers, purchase info etc .  I used a cloth journal I had from Prima and spinged with distress inks.  Added ribbon ties and inside pages which I need to work on.

Yesterday was the annual Papertrey Ink Stamp - a - Faire.  This years theme was gardening.  Lynn and I spent the day playing along.   This is my watercolor card - needs some practice for sure
