My Christmas Swap cards

I am in a Christmas card swap and have to send in my cards in June.  Here are the 2 I am making.   I have since added a couple of rhinestones colored the green to add to the gingerbread men buttons.

Summer quilt

I finished up this summer wall hanging today.  It was so much fun trying out different machine embroidery designs in the quilt sections.  I hung it above the couch for the summer. 

Card Making weekend

My sister Marcia is here from Pennsylvania for the weekend and we made a few cards.  The Barn Door is so much fun.

Finished Free Motion Quilt project

It is done, washed and hung.  I learned a lot about free motion quilting, quilting as you go and even a little on ruler quilting.

SO I have been busy with so many projects including this Free Motion Quilt project with Laura.  I am now joining the prequilted squares into rows then will join the rows then have just the puter binding to do.

Finally had some time to do last week's Wanderlust 2018 lesson.  Still may add some details but overall I am done.  People are hard to draw.

Catch Up

Where has the time gone.  February blew by and it is now March.  I wanted to post a picture of a unique lamp my dear friend Laura got me for my sewing room.  It is perfect on the sewing area with my Singer Featherweight I have name Miss Edith.
