Mystery Quilt update

So we have finally received the last chapter of the Mystery Quilt and I have put all the pieces together - except for the borders.  I really like my fabrics and how this has turned out - mistakes and all.

Club Scrap June 2017

I made a few cards from the monthly card kit from Club Scrap.  Love the bright colors.  I did use a few stamps from my stash as well.  Cannot wait to see next months kit - looks so pretty.

My new crafting buddy

I may not get much done in the craft or sewing room for awhile.  Have a new little buddy who will need some attention.  Meet Chancellor - Chance for short who we rescued from Houndhaven.  He is a 4 yr old chocolate lab mix.  He has made himself right at home.

Summer quilt

I finished up the king size quilt for our bed to use in the summer.  Love the bright colors.

Summer Card

This is a card I made for my upcoming July card buffet.  I really like the cute beach chair die cut.  Have a great 4th of July everyone.

Quilt block

I have also been working on a Summer Block of the week project.  The centers are going to be wool applique.  I still need to finish the stitching for the flower on this block.

Notepads I made

I have been quite busy mostly sewing so haven't posted in a few weeks.  Here are 2 of my recent projects - notepads I sewed using 2 fat quarters.  They hold 1 notepad, pen and cell phone.  Super easy to make.  I used the one that holds 2 phones at work all week to keep everything out of my lab coat pockets.

Day 3 Retreat Projects

Made these really cute projects yesterday.  There is 1 more card I need to redo and fix up a bit.  Will post another time.  Really love the dog card and the journal.
