Santa Shaker Card

I made this shaker card today - so much fun.  It is one of the cards I am going to use for my October Christmas card class.

Triangle Birthday

I took a week off from blogging and and back with another card I made for the USE IT 2015 challenge.  This card used the triangle coverplate from Papertrey ink and some SU scrap DSP.  The sentiment is from MFT - Birthday Chalkboard Greetings.

Lovely as a Tree Reflection technique

I made this card using an old Stampin Up set Lovely as a tree - ( it has been around a long time) and used the reflection technique to make the trees look like they are being reflected in the water.  I also dug out my really old Judi Kins color dusters - brushed with wood handles and long soft bristles and just brushed the color background.

Step Fold Tree Christmas card

I made this card using a few stamp sets - even stamped the patterned paper,  It is the first step fold card I have made.

Trio of Retired Stampin Up Long Notes

I found a pack of now retired Stampin Up "Long Notes" and made this set of cards.  There are long envelopes that fit perfectly.  This is a good way to use up Designer series paper.  The tag is from the retired Two Tags die.  Now I need to finish the rest of the pack of long notes.

Watercolor Roses

Here is one card I made today for the Use It 2015 challenge.  This is a really old Stampin Up set called Simple Florals.  I did some simple watercoloring, rounded the corners, added some vintage looking ribbon, background paper and VOILA.

Recycled Star paper

Here is 1 card I made with the left over piece of star paper from a Paper pumpkin kit.  The stars were punched out and used for confetti in a shaker card.  I think it works perfectly with this sentiment.

Butterflies and handmade paper

Sorry I missed posting for a week but things got so busy.  Here are a pair of cards I made using a really old Stampin Up set Butterfly of Happiness.  I had this handmade paper in my stash and wasn't sure what to use it for.  I really like how these turned out.
