Pinkerton - Collage Quilting Class

I had such a fun day with Judy at the Collage Quilting class in Plant City.  I will post a few pictures of the day and as I work on my collage quilt over the next few weeks/months.  The dress form is one of the future projects I plan on doing.  The other 2 photos are the beginning of "Pinkerton" my pink flamingo.

Bible Journaling

Do you like to color?  I just finished the inside cover of my Inspire Bible using some inexpensive twist colored pencils.  I am not a fan of the pencils but am happy with the outcome overall.

Cute Crittters

Here are a few cards I made from the Simon Says Stamps April Card kit.  Was a stamp set of cute critters.  Love the small googly eyes I added.

Inspiration Showcase

I finally finished a project I have been working on from an on-line class called Inspiration Showcase.   The class was taught by Jennifer McGuire and featured multiple techniques to use on cards,  I am so happy with how it turned out,  Each little heart is a different technique,  Such a fun on line class.

Aviation Slice of Life Quilt

It is finally done - my aviation themed Slice of Life Quilt.  This was a kit from the Missouri Star Quilt Company.  The pattern was so easy to do - nothing to match up perfectly.  I plan on doing another quilt with this design soon.

Art Jar

My  Art Jar- used old antique buttons I had to decorate the lid.  The jar is for a mixed media class I am following along  with on line.  We are to have a jar to add items that inspire us, art journal prompts and anything we might want to use on an art journal page.

Quilting Frenzy

I have been too busy to post lately due to work, card buffet and getting ready for the Gliding contest.  I am off this week for the National Seniors Soaring Contest but have been able to get my aviation quilt almost finished.  This is my machine hard at work quilting and my friend Laura hard at work working on her quilt.
