Mixed Media Fun

I am playing along with an online Art Journaling class by Carolyn Dube.  Here are a few of the pages I have made.  There are videos with assignments on what kind of a page to make, what products to play with etc but in reality there are no rules except to play and have fun.

Gelli Plate Fun

I have been having so much fun playing with a new craft toy - my Gelli Plate.  Here are a few tags I made last week when Lynn and Kathy came over to craft for the day.  The picture doesn't do them justice.

I made this quick and easy slider card using a new Stampin Up set from the new Holiday book.

Watermelon Card

I made this card for a group I am in for Stampin Up - Stampers for Others.  We have a monthly Facebook business page "hop" where we make a card or other project based on that months theme.  This month we made a summer themed card.  Everyone who participates  posts a link to the next participant so we can "hop" around to everyone's page and see what they made.  I hope you like my watermelon card.

Star Cards

I made these cards from the August Simon Says Stamps card kit.  I did use some things from my stash - some paper and a stamp set from My Favorite Things as well as some gold tape, wooden stars and navy twine.  I really like the SSS kits  and always check out  You Tube videos by Vicki Papaioannou, who lives in Greece :).   She makes 10 cards from each kit and doesn't even look at the samples they give in the kit.  I really like her style.  I made some changes on my samples but am always inspired by her cards and monthly video.  Which card is your favorite?
