Angel Card for Pam

My dear friend Pam loves angels and I am making some cards for her stash.  I have never used this stamp called Nikki from The Artful Stamper.  I used a star stencil and applied white embossing paste of over the stencil and then let it dry.  It adds dimension the the card base - looks like the stars are 3 D.

MISTI bag

I love my MISTI - Most Incredible Stamping Tool Invented.  I needed a storage bag so made this from some Tim Holtz fabric I had.  I quilted the sides - need to work on how to do that better using my Dreamweaver XE.  Made a button tab closure and put a pocket inside.  I am very pleased with how it turned out.

Queen Anne's Lace

I made these 2 cards for the weekly USEIT2015 challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers.  I heat embossed white embossing powder on Concord Grape cardstock and added the ribbon.  One corner I used  a photo punch.  Have a great week.

Bokeh Birthday

I made this birthday card for the challenge  over at Ellen Hutson's Classroom using the Bokeh Background technique.  So easy to do.  Have a busy week ahead as the 25th Senior's Soaring Championship starts today- practice day.  I am off the entire week to be crew for KG.

Birthday Greetings card set - useit2015

Here is a set of 4 birthday greetings gift cards - they are 3 x 3 size.  Used the Hero Arts leaf sketch stamp I had never used.  They are very clean and simple and I was able to use up some scrap cardstock and butterflies I had punched out in the past.

Get Well

I had to take a week off from the blog and many things.  I got sick 1 week ago and ended up in the hospital for a few days.  I am feeling much better and decided to make a Get Well card and to finally do the stamp set I was going to use last week for the USE IT 2015 weekly challenge.  I wanted to use Papertrey Ink's Banner Builders in a non-conventional way - not to make a "Banner" so I made a Band-Aid.  Hope to be back in the groove soon.  

February Tag - 12 Tags of 2015

I made this tag for the 12 Tags of 2015 that Tim Holtz does on his blog.  He is so creative and I love all his stuff.  I followed his tag but used different pieces of ephemera on mine.  I like how it turned out.  Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

2 cards this week MFT WSC214 and USEIT2015 Butterfly Dreams

I made 2 cards last night - one for the MFT weekly sketch and one for USEIT2015.  I used Papertrey Ink's Butterfly Dreams set for the USEIT2015 challenge.  For the other card I made the seahorse using the free standing lace technique on my home embroidery machine.
