It's that time again - weekly sketch time for MFT #200.  I used up some scrap designer paper I had and some old plastic flowers.

Here is my card for this week's sketch at My Favorite Things.  The tie dye look paper is from my very large stash of paper.  The embellishment is from a large goodie box I have from Prima Marketing - got it when they had a Garage sale.  What a great box of goodies.

It has been a relaxing but busy week off so far.  Sure do love my fall vacations.  Here is my card for the weekly sketch over at My Favorite Things.  I love how navy and silver look together.

Craft room redo file holders

My dear friend Lynn gave me these 2 metal file holder wall units.   All they needed was a little soap and water and a new coat of glossy paint and VOILA!   Ken painted them for me and we hung them in the little odd corner of my craft room that is too small and odd shaped to put any furniture.  They hold extra packages of paper of which I have an abundance.  I also found out that a small suction cups sticks well to the metal so I can hang a few cute baskets/boxes from the Dollar section of Target for additional storage.

Another Christmas Card - MFTWSC197

Fabric Background Card - MFTWSC196

I cannot believe it is already October.  Where has the year gone.  I have actually been able to keep this blog up with at least 1 post a week AND I have been able to do each weekly sketch over at My Favorite Things.  Here is the card I made for this week.  The background is fabric .  I added a white paper flower that I colored with ink and a crocheted flower I had in my stash.  Have a great week.
